C for Cheapos?

By Teo See Ching

Within the past 2 months, Block C has been plagued with several cases of cheapo theft cases, causing much outrage amongst the residents. First a clothes rack was stolen, then towels, followed by a mug, then even facial wash and body soap. One can only imagine another surreptitiously creeping to the toilet in hope that no one realizes he is using a stolen towel, or forbidding anyone from entering his room in fear of exposure for coveting a $10 rack.

Here’s what a theft victim from block C has to say to the cheapo who conveniently took away her towels, and twice at that: “Indeed this is communal living but you don’t go around sharing everything, friend! You don’t start taking anything that is lying around the hall and keep it for yourself!! This is called stealing! So you better stop or I’ll call the police!”

Well, there is no definite answer that it is C block residents who have committed such horrible deeds unto their fellow block mates. Anyway, other blocks have, of course, also experienced such a spat of theft cases since time immemorial. I’ve heard about food, bras, shoes and clothes getting stolen as well……

Like, seriously, your mother never give you money meh?!?!
